About us

Based at the side of my home in Peasedown St John near Bath, I provide a local and friendly dog grooming service for our furry friends!

The space itself has been specially prepared with all the latest equipment for thorough grooming and a professional finish. The salon offers home comforts and a one on one experience, with specialist shampoos, conditioners and finishing sprays to coat requirements. 

I believe in kind handling and have created a comfortable environment to reduce stress when grooming to enforce a strong bond between groomer and dog. I love being creative in my work and take pride in styling different breed standards, ensuring comfort and care along the way. 

This business was inspired by my own dog Misty, a bichon spaniel mix who's coat requires regular maintenance and gentle handling due to her older age. This made me passionate to start Misty's Groom Room, for all breeds and ages. 

I was drawn to the Animal Care industry from a young age and have been working with dogs of different breeds and personalities for 8+ years. I have become passionate in providing excellent care for our beloved companions and last year completed my City & Guilds qualification in Dog Grooming, earning a distinction and learning from the best in the industry. I have my qualification in Animal Care & Welfare and have completed my Dog First Aid course.
