Booking Policy

Book an appointment online or via text/whatsapp/call on 07895393664 or email contact@mistysgroomroom.co.uk or via our socials (Instagram or Facebook) by direct message. 

To reschedule or cancel your appointments please email, text or call to give at least 24 hours notice. Please note if you are more than 20 minutes late, we may have to reschedule your appointment, although we will do our best to accommodate you at the time, we may have other appointments which may be affected.

Pricing - please note, the cost of grooms depends upon your pet’s coat, condition and temperament. Prices quoted are ‘from’ and are based on pets who are well-maintained at home between visits. Full payment will be taken on collection and discussed with the groomer on drop off.

Matted Dog Policy

We do not brush out heavily matted dogs and have a clip off policy. If your dog is matted, under no circumstances will we put them through any pain or discomfort. In addition to this we are legally obliged to work within the constraints of the Animal Welfare Act, considering your dog’s welfare at all times.

Animal Welfare Act - To Prevent Animals Suffering

Section 9 of the Animal Welfare Act places a duty of care on people to ensure they take reasonable steps in all the circumstances to meet the welfare needs of their animals to the extent required by good practice.

This includes:

  • need for a suitable environment

  • need for a suitable diet

  • need to be able to exhibit normal behaviour patterns

  • need to be housed with, or apart, from other animals

  • need to be protected from pain, suffering, injury and disease

What Personal Data We Collect and Why We Collect It

When requesting information from us, we keep a record of your basic contact information (including name, address, email and phone). We do need to collect this personal information in order to carry out our business and meet our customers' requirements effectively.

Comments: We do not allow visitor comments on this website.

Media: We do not have an image uploader on our website contact forms. All photo rights used on this website is owned by Misty's Groom Room.

Contact Forms: The information you submit in our contact forms are freely given. We keep contact form submissions for a certain period for customer service purposes, but we do not use the information you submit for marketing purposes. The information you submit is stored in our website enquiry archive within our email system. We require your contact details in order to respond to your enquiry.

Cookies: We use cookies for a number of different purposes. Some cookies are necessary for technical reasons, the website cannot function properly without them; some enable a personalised experience for visitors; and some allow the display of advertising from selected third party networks. This website uses marketing cookies to send data to Google Analytics about the visitor’s device, behaviour and tracks the visitor across devices and marketing channels to engage better with the individual user. The Data Retention associated with cookies, user identifiers or advertising identifiers are set to expire at 26 months, where user-level and event-level data stored by Google Analytics is automatically deleted from Analytics’ servers.

Personal data about you is held on our computer system or pass-code protected mobile phones. The information is not accessible to the public and only authorised members of staff have access to it. All written records are kept in a locked cabinet.
